Leisure Publishing Group is a progressive publishing company, based in Cape Town, South Africa.  Our core business focuses on magazines and in particular our flagship title, Family Holiday and Leisure.

Family travel has been neglected in South Africa and the magazine has been established to provide for the family traveller and to make the service providers aware that travelling families as in the rest of the world have special needs while travelling, especially those having a holiday or even a weekend breakaway with smaller children. Due to the head count it stands to reason the parents/grandparents travelling with children spend more and as such establishments should provide for this tendency and those that do will manage to gain this market share.

There are numerous magazines that focus on families and raising children of various ages and there are a number of travel magazines in South Africa.  There are also many lodges and resorts in our country who advertise family programmes and facilities for kids, special family rates and kids clubs.  Family Holiday & Leisure is however, the only travel and leisure magazine in South Africa that specifically targets the lucrative family market. We strive to incorporate local and international travel, from luxury to the ordinary down to earth camper. The magazine combined with our website Family Holiday and Leisure we strive to be fully informative on the topic of family travel.

In addition to the hard copy magazine we intend to launch an electronic version of the magazine in 2012 and will also give the subscriber the option of receiving the magazine on disc format.

Via advertisers and sponsors we regularly offer giveaways and competitions via our website and our face book page.
